MYOUNG WOMAN’S CIRCLE OF THE
FIRST METHODIST CHURCH HOLDS
A MOST INTERESTING
* The Young Woman’s Circle
of the
First Methodist church held a most
interesting meeting Monday after
noon with Mrs. John Dickinson at
her home on S. Sixth street, On
this delightful occasion Mrs. Kelley
Wilson was the joint'hostess.
A number of interesting matters
were discussed by the members,

chief among them being Christmas ]
affairs. Some charitable work was |
planned ed for during d the holidays. j

Af ter the business session a

lightful social hour was enjoyed.
An attractive Christmas tree
a feature of the occasion, each guest
being awarded som^ novelty that ex
pressed her characteristics.
f During the social hour Mrs. Dick
inson and Mrs. Wilson served a de
licious salad course with hot tea and
fruit cake. They were assisted in
serving by Miss Annie Malone.
The house was beautifully decor
ated for the occasion with quanti- j
ties of cream colored and yellow 10 - I
ses that filled vases and baskets and!
*with handsome growing'ferns. 1

The meeting, over which the presi
dent, Mrs. W. C. Humphries, presid

after which a most interesting pro
gram was. given,
