—Secretary of the Interior Emilio
Portes today denied reports that
the government had invited Adolfo
Dela Huerta, former provisional
president, to- return to Mexico.
Huerta’s return would be highly
prejudicial to the country, Fortes
declared. He also denied that the
former execuitve’s friends had
sought permission for him to re
turn from Los Angeles California
where he now resides.
