Presbyterian church of the United
States bv using motion pictures
were approved today bv the Church s
committee on stewardship.
The Church’s work, from a local
unit to the projects of the execu
tive agencies, would be shown in
motion pictures available for a vis
ual education program throughout
the Church.
The committee also endorsed the
proposed 194fi Youth Conference, on
world missions, which Church offi
cials estimated would attract 2,
0(X> to 3,000 youths.

B-29 In Non-Stop
Flight From Japan
To Washington
WASHINGTON .—m — Tile Air
Force marked up today a second-try
victory for its B-29s over the mil -
age and adverse weather of the
tough nonstop" hop from Japan to
Washington.
Four of the SuperfOrts flew in to
National' Airport at 7-38 o’clock
last night, after a 6,544-mile trip
from Mizut mi on the Japanese home
island of Hokkaido. The lead plane’s
time W'as 27 hours 29 minutes.
Tlie *3 fliers succeeded in a task
which defeated three other B-29s
in the first attempt in September
but failed in a mtye ambitious plan
to better the world distance record
by having one of the planes go on
to Cuba or Puerto Rico.
The plan was abandoned while
the big aircraft were over Canada.
