from the study manual.

Plenty of young people today go
in for “provided” marriages. The

only reason this one was news was
because the groom put the reserva-
tion into words.
That reservation" is pretty shock
ing, We like the sound of “till
death do us part” better.
But the fact that one marriage
out of four today is ending in di
vorce is proof that in their own
minds a lot of couples have substl
tuted “provided” for the beautiful,
dignified “till death" promise.
WHEN THEY CRACK UP
In any marriage there are bound
to be times jvhen either the husband
or wife or both are disillusioned
about their union, there are sure
to be times when the marriage
doesn’t seem to be working as well
it should.
That is when the "provided" mar
riages crack up. But the "till death”
partners cope with the boredom
disillusionment and end up with
marriage that may not be
but at least is intpet.
