Peters, chairman of the Talmadge
aligned Democratic Executive Com
mittee. He declared that Herman
Talmadge (1) will run for gover
nor In 1948, and (2) will run in two
primaries ‘‘If such a situation dc

. To political observers with sharp
* memories or a handy file cabinet,
Peters' comment appeared to mean:
