i Profanitu In Hat
TALLADEGA, Ala. — IIP —
When a collection p’.a-e was
missing, a hat was passed at a
church here.
The hat went down the audi
torium, pew by pew. A some
what startled minister observed
that all along the way it set off
a trail of red faces, snorts, and
suppressed giggles.
Later he examined the hat.
Inside was pasted a red paste
board identity card with the
owner's name
In addition, it said in big
black letters: ‘‘Like Hell it's
yours. Put it back.”
