man's Society of Christian Service
met Mondaj afternoon at the homes
of eircle members.
BELLE BENNETT
Belle Bennett Circle met at the
*tCv*C of Mrs. Gcoiae alurray on
Crescent road.
Mrs. H. O. Hutchinson gave the
devotional, and Mrs. Ben Brown,
leader, presided Mrs. Brown an
nounced that the family picnic of
nil the circles will be held August
28, at the Municipal Park. Mrs.
Prank Patterson taught the lesson
from the study book. "To Whom
Much Is Given.” Mrs. Hutchinson
and Mrs. Tom Fullllove Invited the
circle to meet with them in Septem
ber.
The hostess, assisted by Mrs. A. Y.
Crowley, served a dessert course
during the social hour.
Mrs. T. A. Handley was welcomed
as it new member and Mrs. R. S.
Parham and Mrs. O. I Snapp, as
visitors. Fifteen members were pre
sent.

Mary Harris King Circle at her
home on East College street, with
Mis. Ralph McLean as co-hostess.
Mrs. W. G. Bryant, leader, pre
sided during the business session

sary tea will be held on September

George Miles and me lesson was
presented by Mrs. E. A. Crudup.

Mrs. T. C. Barron and Mrs. C. F.
Lrewry were hostesses to Jubilee
Circle at Mrs. Barron's home
McLaurln avenue.
Mis. A. L. McKneely opened the
meeting with the devotional, and
committee reports were then given
and routine business discussed. Miss
Blanche Bailey taught the lesson.
The hostesses served delicious re
freshments hfter the meeting.

sided during the business session
and appointed committees to be in
charge of flowers for the church
and communion during August.

son. Mrs. Hoyt Daniel Invited the
