Switzerland Fears
Slump In Tourists
GENEVA —m— The Swiss travel
experts are not very happy about
tii« prospects for the winter tourist
season in Switzerland. , At a reedht
meeting of agents ai the Swiss
Tourist Agency from all parts of the
world, It was generally agreed that
a great many travelers, for one rea
son or another, are going to stay a
way from Switzerland this winter.
1 This Is no reflection on the fun
md facilities available. The diffi
cult international situation Is on;
reason. Another, Swiss experts in
the United States reported, is the
failure of Switzerland to advertise
enough. They said the proeepettve
American guests were subjected to
a “drumfire” ot British and French
tourist propaganda, which had been
:uitc successful.
