Hosiery Mill have received citations
to show cause why they should not
be prosecuted for violating a Court
restraining order.
Sheriff Luther Middlebrooks said
today that he had given Glenn Jim
merson, Victor Huckaby and Sam
Aiken copies of the citation instru
cting them to appear before Judge
Chester A, Byars, Superior Court
judge, to show cause why they
should not be fined or sentenced in
connection with an alleged viola
tion of a restraining order.
A permanent restraining order
enjoining the Doyedown union, Lo
cal 115 of the American Federation
of Hosiery Workers, independent,
was granted Saturday, Nov, 13, in
the Griffin Superior Court.
The restraining order restricted
the number of pickets at the
hosiery mill to not more than five
at one time and set forth where the
pickets could not go. • ;
