WMU Has
April Meet
The Woman’s Missionary So
ciety of the Providence Baptist
Church held its April meeting
at the church.
Mrs. Charles Schuff, president,
presided. The watchword was
repeated. Mrs. Roger Rawls had
the call to prayer and led in pra
yer.
Mrs. W. J. Smith presented
the program, “New Foreign Mis
sion Fields”. Those taking part
were Mrs. Otis Rawls, Mrs. O.
E. Quigley, Mrs. C. M. Turner,
Mrs. J. M. Clark, Mrs. C. A
Yarbrough, Mrs E. B. Allen
and Mrs. Charles Schuff.
The minutes were read by Mrs.
Otis Rawls and the treasurer’s
report was given by Mrs. C. M.
Turner. The community miss
ions project for the month was
planned.
Mrs. Schuff thanked the ladies
for the Easter egg hunt they had
for the Sunbeams.
Plans for the observance of
GA Focus Week was discussed
and final plans will be made at
the next meeting.
Mrs. Smith closed with prayer.
