Keep toast hot for a few min
utes this way: arrange slices on
a rack and place in a warm oven
until served. Never stack hot
toast. It wilts.
Put a rubber sink mat under
a pastry board. This keeps it
from slipping when you roll out

Fashion Tips
The point of this item: you
now can make your own needle
point tote bag for a mere $210
—not counting anything for
your labor. Women’s Wear Daily
reports $85 pays for the pattern
and wool. Handbag and mount
ing add $125 to the outlay for
materials. The pattern was de
signed by Hubbell Pierce, and
Woolworth has the makings.
