Grady Pierce, who has a bum

Coach Russell Gray, who tu

As many as six or seven boys

Coaches already see the 1P67

Bobby Whitehead has been the

The boy, who has impressed

Coaches are comparing Rich

with Larry Bethune, one of Grif

all the way from any place on

James Black and Ricky Clark

a terrific tackier.
Coach Ormand Anderson has

League owners will decide
today between several groups
which are seeking two more
spots in the loop. Two Louisville
organizations are competing for
one franchise. The other also

Atlanta and Miami are

One Louisville group received

Anyone for half a station wagon?
Give or toko a couple cubic feet, the VW
Squareback Sedan will hold half as much as a big,
$4,000 station wagon.
Which isn't half bad considering that big wag.
ons usually run oround half empty anyhow.
And although you can't roll a piano into the
back of a Squareback, you can fold the rear seat
down and slide in a couple of full-sized me stresses.
Or bring it back up again to carry full-sized
people. Plus all their luggage.
There's also bonus storage space under the
front hood. (You know, where everyone else
stores their engine.)
So if you ve been torn between the roominess
of a big wagon and the costliness of it all, look at
our Squareback this cheaper.$2295* way:
One. It’s much
Two. It’s more economical. (After all, h is a
Volkswagen.!
And three. Half a wagon is better than none ot all
