Track Meet
Saturday
The Griffin Community Center
of the Griffin Recreation Depart
ment will hold its annual City-
County track meet Saturday be
ginning at 1:00 p.m.
All first and second place
winners in each division and age
group in the elementary meets
will compete. Also junior high
students are encouraged to par
ticipate.
The concession stand will be
open and operated by the Grif
fin Optimist Club.
Ribbons will be awarded fir
st, second and third place win
ners in each event.
Shirley Bottoms
Bowls 190 Game
Shirley Bottoms bowled a 470
series and a 190 game Thursday
in the Summer Follies League.
Ellce Marable had a 165 game.
Patsy Mann bowled a 162. Sara
Chesser had a 172 game.
