the Miscellaneous Tax Unit.

nesses sold alcoholic beverages
on Sunday or sold alcoholic
beverages to minors or sold
liquor from a beer tavern with
out an appropriate license.
Hawes said the investigation
was sparked by complaints
from solicitors and courts in the
Savannah and Statesborough
areas.
The establishments are in
Bryan, Candler, Emanuel,
Evans, Long, Liberty and Mc-
Intosh Counties.
