Game In LL Tournament
Greg Crawford had been do

Griffin American Little League
all season, but put the cream on
the pie Thursday night in the
sub-district Little League tour

Crawford hurled a perfect
game at the Griffin National
League All-Stars. He faced only
18 batters in six innings.

bunt in the fifth inning by Stu
art Jones.
Crawford struck out 14 Natio

issue any walks. Jones gave up
two walks and struck out eight.
The Americans scored their

There are a lot of
good cars you can get for *3400.
This is two of them*
If you don’t happen to need two cars, there’s
only one thing that you need less. One car that
costs as much as two cars.
Unless you want to pay a lot of money for a lot
of horsepower that you’ll never use. There’s only
one state in the country where you can go faster
than a Volkswagen —Nevada.(No speed limit—
they're big gamblers out there.) >
The only extra horsepower you really need is
for all those power gadgets. Which you need to
drive a car that size. Which has to be that size to
hold all those horses.
All of which also makes the average car cost al
most as much to run as two Volkswagens. Consider
ing a VW gets about 27 miles to a gallon of gas
and about 40,000 miles to a set of tires.
But if you're still not sold on the idea of two bugs
for the price of one beast, why not take advantage
of this special introductory offer: one Volkswagen
for half the price of two.
