NOTICE OF BOND ELECTION
To the qualified voters of Sp
alding County, Georgia:
Notice is hereby given that
on the 25th day of July, 1967,
an election will be held at the
regular polling places in all the
election districts of Spalding Co
unty, Georgia, at which time
there will be submitted to the
registered qualified voters of
said County for their determi
nation the question of whether
or not Library Bonds shall be
issued by said County In the ag
gregate principal amount of
$350,000 for the purpose of pro
viding funds which, together with
additional funds from the feder
al government, will be used to
construct and equip a library,
the usual and necessary appur
tenances useful in connection
therewith, to acquire the proper
ty necessary therefor and to pay
the expenses incident hereto.
Said Library Bonds shall be
dated August 1, 1967, numbered
from 1 upward to 70, inclusive,
|n order of maturity, in deno
minations of $5,000 each, bear
ing interest at a rate of rates
not to exceed four and one-half
per centum (4>i percent) per
annum, interest payable Janu
ary 1, 1968, and semiannually
thereafter on the Ist day of Jan
uary and July in each year; and
the principal of said bonds shall
mature on January 1, as follows:
$15,000 in the year 1969,
$20,000 in eacn of the years
1970 to 1975, inclusive,
$25,00 Oin each of the years
1976 to 1980, inclusive.
$30,000 in each of the years
1981 to 1983, Inclusive.
The principal of and the inter
est on said bonds shall be pay
able In lawful money of the
United States of America at a
bank or banks to be designated
at a later dae.

That at a meeting of its
stockholders held on the 30th
day of June, 1967, at which all
of the outstanding stock of the
corporation was present, and
which meeting was held pursu
ant to the call of the Directors,
a resolution was unanimously
adopted upon the recommenda
tion of the Directors by the af
firmative vote of the entire cap
ital stock resolving that the
corporation surrender its chart
er and franchsies and be dis
solved. A duly certified copy of
the resolution is attached here
to marked ‘‘Exhibit A”.
Wherefore, petitioner prays

tered accepting the surrender
