‘Understanding’
William Heule of Thomaston,
district governor of Lions Clubs,
told the Griffin club that the in
ternational organization can help
promote world understanding.
He said the 800,000 members

gh the international Lions organ
ization.
Heule noted there are 11,000
Lion Club members in Geor
gia in his report to the Griffin

He said Lion Club members
should begin promoting under

their own communities and help
ing solve local problems.
“If all the Lions Clubs in the
world would start with their own
locality and work toward an ans
wer to the problem of under
standing, we soon would have
the big problem licked," Heule
said.
He challenged each club to
look around its own community
for some of the small problems
and start to work on them.
During the meeting Lion E. C.

IN MEMORIAM
In Loving Memory of
MAMA and DADDY,
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Fallins
Mama died Feb. 24, 1967
Daddy died March 8, 1967.
Mama and Daddy, one
year ago Jesus called you
both to be with Him where
there would be no more sor
row and sickness for you
both to bear.
Mama, you were first to
go, if we only had known yoa
were so sick and we coukd
have been with you that last
day. We were with Daddy
at the hospital as you wanted
us to be. We have heard you
so many times pray that
Jesus would take you first,
and He did, just 12 days be
fore he took Daddy.
Then, Daddy, you left us
too. You didn’t know Mama
had gone. We can just see
your smiling face when you
saw Mama there waiting for
you, and hand in hand you
both found your Promise
Land.
Mama, you used to sit at
Daddy’s bed and he would
ask you to sing to him. You
would sing, "Precious Mem
ories.” That’s all we’ve got
now, and oh those memories
are so percious to us.
Mama and Daddy we think
of you both every day and
wish we could talk to you.
We know yon are happy now
with Jesus, and we pray that
some day we will all be to
gether up there.
We miss you. Mama and
Daddy as much as we loved
you but there is a promise
of a greater joy for God has
planned a richer life beyond
the unseen shore.
The Family,
Mr. & Mrs. Watson Pritchett,
Mr. & Mrs. Aubrey Fallins,
Mr. & Mrs. Jimmy Fallins.
