ATTENTION MOTOR VEHICLE
OWNERS
Georgia law requires all motor vehicles to have a
1968 tag by April Ist. If you have not purchased your
1968 license plates please do so at your earliest con
venience in order to avoid the usual long lines the
last few days in March.
In order to save you time in purchasing your license
plates. Please have:
1. Your 1967 tag slip & tag number.
2. Your correct address.
3. If you did not purchase a tag for the vehicle
in 1967 please have your bill of sale.
4. Please come early and avoid the lines.
A majority of the tag applications were not pre-typed
for 1968 by the State Motor Vehicle Tag Unit and
have to be typed when you make your application
for your license plates. Because of this fact those that
are not pre-typed require more time to process.
Your kind cooperation will be greatly appreciated.
