SHALL
Shall I Smoke? This question was asked and discussed in a
series of programs and displays this week at Spalding Junior
High School. The program was concentrated in the Unit Two
buliding, which houses most of the seventh grade.
The Seventh Grade Ladybug Club, a female student group
under the advisorship of Mrs. Bobby Jean Pierce and Mrs. Jim
my Goss, made posters, displays and dummies to show the ef
fects of smoking.
Coach Byron Bilbreath, basketball coach at Georgia Tech,
made a talk to the Unit Two student body in a chapel program
Friday morning.
The programs were made available through the Spalding
County Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
