Harriet Moore, daughter of the

been selected to become a
member of the Splinters, an ho
norary organization at Wesleyan '
College. The purpose of the Sp
linters is to aid the Athletic As
sociation at Wesleyan in its pro
jects and to keep a scrapbook of
all the events at the college dur-
ing the year.

Diane Graham of Griffin, a
member of the Tift College choir,
was one of the student soloists
who participated in tne annual
Christmas candlelight concert
held at Tift College Sunday.

Gerald L. Rainey of Griffin was
among 18 Auburn University ag
ricultural students who were in-
ducted in the Alabama chapter
of Gamma Sigma Delta, the Ho
nor Society of Agriculture.

Mary Ann Broome, a junior at
Valdosta State College, has been
elected a varsity cheerleader for
the coming 1968-69 season. She
has also been selected by Del
ta Chi fraternity to the Order of
Chi Delphia, Sisters of the Whit
Carnation, where she now ser
ves as secretary.

Phi Sigma, a sophomore scho-
lastic honor society at Georgia
College at Milledgeville.

annual Christmas candlelight
concert which was held Sunday
at the college.
