Practice Improved;
Injuries Are, Too
Practice improved at Griffin
High yesterday and so did some
of the “aggravating” injuries
that are bothering a few
players.
Coach Max Dowis is still con
cerned about the ailments.
“However, the injury
situation is looking better. They
aren’t too serious but they are
hindering players in practice.”
The Griffin coach said the
Tuesday practice was an im
provement over Monday’s. “We
got in a few licks yesterday.’’

films have convinced Coach
Dowis that R. E. Lee has a solid
team.
“It definitely will take a
better team to whip them, ex
pecially on their home field,”
Coach Dowis said.
Coach Dowis considers Lee’s
line of scrimmage “very
strong.”
