Mary Prescott Displays Her New License .
Mary, a native Griffinite, passed her real estate test this past Decemlier, and she has
been a real estate whirlwind since she became an active saleslady in February.
Mary Is the wife of L. 11. Prescott, purchasing agent for Imperial Homes, Inc. She
is the mother of two lively boys, John,4, and Alan, 3.
The Prescotts attend First Baptist Church here in Griffin.
Mary has worked as a secretary for the past ten years. She has been unusually busy
this past year, studying for her real estate license and renovating her home on
Terracedale Court.

Doris McKnight
Doris has been with Griffin Realty since January of tills year and has livened up the
office considerably with her enthusiastic personality.
She is the wife of retired Army Colonel Jonh T. McKnight and lives on Maple Drive,
she is the mother of four Child-on: Captain John T. McKnight, a West Point graduate;
Lieutenant David McKnight, this past year’s defensive captain of the Georgia Bulldogs;
Larry McKnight, who will play defensive end on the Georgia team this fall; and,
Mimi McKnight, Griffin High Cheerleader.
The McKnights chose Griffin for their retirement over many other areas of the U. S.
and foreign countries, in which they’ve lived during their 28 years in the sun ice.
Doris is a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and is an accomplished
bridge player and pianist.
She prefers Griffin to her native Massachusetts, and we’re glad that she does.

Martha Ferris Types Up A Contract .
The wife of Griffin’s golf pro., Pete Ferris, Martha has undertaken the job of keep
ing the Griffin Realty office in order.
Having lived in Griffin since her marriage to Pete in 1959, Martha has numerous
friends through her voluntary work at Sacred Heart School, at which the Ferris boys,'
Hank, 9, and Peter, 7, are students.
Martha is a native of Marshallville, Georgia, and she attended both Mercer University J
and the University of Georgia.
The Ferrises have been busy these past few months establishing a lawn for their (
new home on Wesley Drive. Martha says that she was such a satisfied homeowner that
she had to come work for the firm.
They are members of St. George’s Eplscople Church.

Donna Drake Is Off To Show A House.
Only twenty-three years old, Donna is getting an early start in her real estate career.
She started as secretary for Griffin Realty and decided to take the real estate test,
which she passed in December.
Donna is the wife of Larry Drake, a computer operator at McDonough Equipment
Company. She and Larry have a slxteen-month-old son, Chris.
A 1965 graduate of Griffin High School, Donna later attended Griffin Tech. After
her husband returned from a tour of duty in Vietnam two years ago, he decided to
stay in Griffin, Donna’s hometown. They live on Second Avenue.
The Drakes are members of Rehoboth Baptist Church.

Sue Ogletree Contacts A Prospect
Sue is the newest member of Griffin Realty, having attended a real estate course in
Atlanta. She received her real estate license in April and became an active saleslady
two weeks ago.
The wife of Bobby Ogletree, State Farm Insurance agent, she has been a part-time
secretary for her husband, on and off, during the past few years.
Sue and Bobby have three children; Stuart, 11, Jim, 9 and Amanda, 7. They live on
Springer Drive and attend St. George’s Episcopal Church.
Sue hails from Marshallville. Georgia, and she attended the University of Georgia,
where she majored in Home Economics.
She is an accomplished cook and homemaker and teaches Sllmnastics at the Griffin
Recreation Department three mornings a week.
We feel that she’s a welcome addition to the firm.
