ON REZONING
Under the regulations of the zoning ordinance of the City
of Griffin, and upon recommendations of the Planning and
Zoning Board a "Public Hearing" will be held before the
Board of City Commissioners of the City of Griffin,
Georgia at the City Hall at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night,
September 14, 1971, to consider rezoning the following
described area:
1. Rezone from an R-3 multifamily zone to a C-1 retail
commercial zone as follows:
Beginning at a point on the west R-W line of South Bth
Street, 1,130 feet north from the intersection of the west R-
W line of South Bth Street with the easterly R-W line of
South 9th Street, this point being the north east property
corner of the Telephone Company property, thence

Telephone Company property a distance of 230 feet,
