Bikes win
BOSTON (UPI) -Ten bike
riders “raced” 10 drivers to
their jobs Wednesday and won
seven of the contests. One
ended in a dead heat, the
referee said.
The races were sponsored by
the city parks and recreation
department along with environ
mental groups.
Cyclists had to obey all
traffic signals and motorists
had to find a place to park
before they finished the races
which ranged from one to 7%
miles.
