I THE CAUSE OF (NERVES)
I MAY BE FOUND
Many have been told. "Your trouble
■ is nerves, |ust nerves, that's all."
■ Nerves are too important to be
■ dismissed so easily.
Nerves make possible all movement,
■ nerves transmit all sensations to the
■ brain. Nerves make possible sight,
■ smell, taste and hearing. Nerves make
■ possible the maintenance of body
I balance and keep the body temperature
H at n.i degrees. Nerves are too
I important to the body to be dismissed
■ so easily. They make possible our
■ breathing and speech. Nerves make the
■ bowels move. Nerves make if possible
■ for us to swallow. In fact all functions
■ taking place in the body are under
I control and coordination of the nervous
system.
The spine acts as a bony canal and
protector for the main nerve cable or
spinal cord. The dislocation of any of
the spinal vertebrae can cause a
pressure on the nerve as it leaves the
spine, creating trouble in the organ
supplied by that nerve. The
Chiropractor's main objective is to
locate and correct nerve interference
that may be causing abnormal function
of organs or parts of the body.
The spine is the "switchboard"
controlling health. Chiropractic release
the power within!
That Chiropractic has stood the test
of personal investigation by millions
proves its lasting benefits to humanity.

NEW YORK—Accompanied by his wife, Oona, and police

Muskie hopes for miracle
in Wisconsin primary
MILWAUKEE, Wis. (UPI)-
Sens. George S. McGovern and
Hubert H. Humphrey battled in
Wisconsin’s crowded primary
today for their first victory on
the long trail to the Democratic
presidential nomination.
His ambitions of mounting an
early bandwagon gone, Sen.
Edmund S. Muskie hoped for a
“miracle” upset that would
keep him from a staggering
setback in the nation’s fourth
primary of the 1972 election
year.
Facing the voters for the first
time in their native Midwest,
Humphrey and McGovern were
rated neck-and-neck as the
favorites in Wisconsin. But an
expected large crossover of
Republicans and the presence
of Alabama Gov. George C.
Wallace on the ballot fueled the
election with uncertainty.
An estimated 1.5 million
persons were expected to cast
ballots. Sub-freezing tempera
tures and spring snow were
predicted.
Eight Other Candidates
In addition to McGovern,
Humphrey, Muskie and Wal
lace, the Democratic ballot
listed eight other candidates,
but only Sen. Henry M.
Jackson, Mayor John Lindsay
of New York and former Sen.
Eugene J. McCarthy cam
paigned in the state.

Mrs. King places
wreath on grave
ATLANTA (UPl)—Mrs. Martin Luther King Jr. places
a wreath on the grave of her husband today to mark the
fourth anniversary of his assisination.
And on the eve of the anniversary, the Southern Chris
tian Leadership Conference which King founded said it
will oppose with “nonviolent direct action” any plans to
extend President Nixon’s moratorium on courtordered
school busing.
A spokesman for Mrs. King said Rev. Andrew Young,
one of King’s followers, would conduct a brief service at
the graveside near Ebernezer Baptist Church. King was
shot to death April 4,1968 at a motel in Memphis, Tenn.
Dr. Ralph Abernathy said in a preanniversary
statement Monday that busing was “not the problem in
this country, the problem is bringing together of black and
white students in this racist society.
Abernathy said the S C L C would support any legal
action against implementing Nixon’s moratorium and
“we would have to buttress legal action with
nonviolent direct action.
“I don’t know how much longer we are going to be able
to stand up and say to people who have lost faith in the
system, where leaders do not meet their needs, that they
ought to seek nonviolent means for social change,”
Abernathy warned.
Burson starts his
1,000 mile walk
DILLARD, Ga. (UPI) — Bill Burson stepped off in 32-
degree weather and a freezing rain here Monday on his
walk from Rabun Gap to Tybee Light (byway of
Columbus) to promote his candidacy for the U.S. Senate.
The distance has been figured at 1,066 miles.
Burson, now state treasurer, hopes “to meet the people
of Georgia” on the walk and win the Democratic
nomination on the process.
The trek is not altogether new. In Florida, U.S. Sen.
Lawton Chiles walked from the Georgia line to Key West
and wound up in the Senate as a reward for his sore feet.
Burson told a small crowd and his family who saw him
off that he hopes to cover 10 miles a day. He had headed
for Tallulah Falls for his first overnight stop.
