got my first check on Feb. 3.
Some friends of mine insist
they received a check the same
month they became 62. — Mr.

A. Social Security checks are
issued on the 3rd of each month
unless the 3rd falls on a Sun
day, in which case they are is
sued on the 2nd. The check re
ceived on the 3rd represents
payment for the previous
month. Your first check was
received right on schedule.
Q. If I am appointed as trus
tee in bankruptcy, what would
be my legal duties? — T.W.
A. Your duties would be to
collect the assets of the debtor
so you could distribute it to the
creditors.

men each to nearby Dak To 11, which was
not yet under attack. Then he flew Kaplan
and two others to Pleiku about 10 a.m. A
team of four U.S. choppers, two Cobra
gunships and two troop-carrying Hueys,
arrived at Dak To H to take the other six
men out.

about 6 a.m., he said, and were rescued by
an American helicopter about 9:30 in the
morning.
