Mr. Wade
Graveside services for Mr.
Roosevelt Wade of 3821 Ross
street, Hapeville, formerly of,
Hampton, will be held Sunday
at 2 o’clock from Rock Springs
cemetery at Forest Park.
The Rev. Randolph Williams
will officiate.
Survivors include a sister,
Mrs. Mary O. Taylor of
Hapeville, two daughters, two
grandchildren, and a niece.
The cortege will form at the
residence at 1:30 p.m.
McDowell United Funeral
Home of Griffin is in charge of
plans.
Mr. Copelin
Funeral services for Mr.
Armston Charlie Copelin of 306
North Hill street, Griffin will be
held Sunday at 3 p.m. from the
Achaia Baptist Church with the
Rev. C. R. Johnson and the Rev.
H. L. Turner officiating.
Burial will be in the Rest
Haven cemetery.
Survivors include three
sisters, Mrs. Ethel Belle
Copeland, and Mrs. Estelle
Boynton, both of Griffin, and
Mrs. Florine Moore of Detroit,
Mich.; one brother, Ezell
Copeland of Griffin; and
several nieces and nephews.
Miller’s Funeral Home is in
charge of arrangements.
Thanksgiving
program set
The King’s Kids, a youth
group at First Christian
Church, will present a special
Thanksgiving pageant in the
sanctuary at 7:00 p.m., Sunday.
Members of the cast include
Janet and Beth Gaston, Nancy
Jean Preston, Wendy Wright,
Jeff Rainwater, Christy
Johnson, David and Mike
Kimbell, Wally and Harold
Wetherbee, Jane and Austin
Raunikar, Jimmy Cook, Karen
and Russ Vaughn, Susan and
Robert Sowell, Gay Henderson
and Kay Johnson.
Adult supervisors for the
program are Mrs. George
Murray, Jr., Mrs. Richard
Gaston and Mrs. Joe Johnson,
Jr.
Miss Mary Hedderman will
play her guitar and sing. Mrs.
Larry Shuman will play the
piano, and Jimmy Cook will
play his violin.
