Mike Kekich, whose wife
swap with teammate Fritz
Peterson created a sensation
during spring training, was sent
to the Braves, Steinbrenner
said Wednesday on the 6 pm
news program of WTVT-TV. It

The Braves also denied the
deal had been made, but at the

Atlanta this morning.
“We had three pitchers we
were trying to get,” Steinbren

complete game in 10 starts.
Kekich, who had a 10-13

spring but has been repeatedly
by-passed in their pitching
rotation by Manager Ralph
Houk. He did not make his first
start until May 13, has a 1-1
