The Rev. Bradley Show of Shellman, Ga., a blind minister
with one arm, is conducting prayer and Bible studies this
week at the First Assembly of God Church. He speaks at 7:30
each night except Saturday night. Sunday’s schedule calls for
him to speak at the church at 9:45 a.m., 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
The Assemblies of God minister is doing free lance
evangelism at churches and retreats on campuses. He lost
his left arm in a 1952 accident. The minister’s loss of sight
began in 1961 when he had to give up driving an automobile
because of an eye affliction. Blindness was complete by 1964.
Now he has only light perception.

SAN FRANCISCO—Army Medic Donna Boyd, 22, who re
enlisted for love and went AWOL for love, sits beside her
husband, Army Medic James Boyd, 23, after she surrendered
to authorities at Letterman General Hospital at the Presidio.
The couple fell in love a year ago while Mrs. Boyd was being
trained at Letterman. After training, she was transferred to
Ft. Sill, Okla., while he remained here. She then re-enlisted
so she could choose a duty station, but there were no openings
at Letterman and she was sent to FL Ord, Calif. They
married March 19 because that would make it possible for
reassignment. When that didn’t work she “went over the
hill.” She’s been given orders to return to Ft. Ord, where she
faces disciplinary proceedings. (UPI)
