elimination tournament.

defeat
Lassies
The Rebelettes defeated the
lassies 6-3 and the Hawkettes
downed the Topcats 8-4 yester
day in the Girls Softball League.
Nancy Horton hit a double
and single for the Rebelettes.
Donna Vickery hit two singles,
Larae Pritchard hit a double
and single and Cathy Harris had
two singles.
Susan Gordy hit two singles
for the Lassies, Debbie Smith,
Michelle Faulkner and Kim
McKinley singled.
Tracy Pharr, Valerie Trenton
and Cindy Maddox had three
singles for the Hawkettes. Jan
Trenton hit a triple and single
and Diana Johnson doubled.
Kelly Adair hit a triple and

Hoerner sold
ATLANTA (UPI) - The
Atlanta Braves sold veteran
relief pitcher Joe Hoerner
Wednesday to the Kansas City
Royals and purchased the
contract of righthander Max
