moderate earthquake rumbled
along the ocean floor Friday
about 90 miles southwest of
Adak, the Palmer Observatory
reported.
The ‘quake registered 5.3 on
the Richter scale but was not
strong enough to create a tidal
wave. There were no reports of
damage from the temblor at
7:40 a.m. Alaska time.
