Dr. Skelton gets nod
TOCCOA, Ga. (UPI) - The
state Board of Human Resour
ces has recommended that Dr.
Douglas Skelton be named head
of the State’s Mental Health Di
vision, succeeding Dr. Gary Mil
ler who was fired recently.

wreckage of a partially burned,
single engine plane with a skele
ton inside was discovered in

Beef prices among highest
DENVER (UPI)—A nation
wide survey released Wednes
day by the American National
Cattlemen’s Association showed
that supermarket beef prices in
Atlanta are among the highest
in the nation.
The survey, conducted on
prices of five representative
meat cuts in 19 cities, showed,

Powell of Dublin announced

Credit Co., an Atlanta - based
creditinformation firm, Wednes
day reported a net income of
$1,690,000 for the quarter ended
March 31, or 54 cents a share
against 57 cents a share a year
