SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (UPI) ,
— The alternative could have
been a requirement that men
don bras, so instead women
sun-worshippers in this coastal •
community were given permis
sion to doff theirs.
The Board of Supervisors
Tuesday adopted an ordinance
permitting bare-breasted sun
bathing. '
An amendment which would T
have kept women in bras was
rejected after the county
counsel said the measure could
have been made applicable to •
men too.
