The couple was here to launch a drive to raise $6 million for Gonzaga University, Crosby’s alma mater. Cooper approved WASHINGTON (UPI) — The Senate approved the nomination Thursday of former Sen. The resolution proposed that a weather - free observance of Southeastern ecosystems be made with infrared photography from an orbiting platform or high-flying plane. Carter said taking the survey state-by-state is a wasteful approach, and suggested the federal govern ment make an infrared natural resources map stretching from Delaware to Oklahoma. “Photographs produce from a high altitude platform will provide the states with informa tion vital to any regional and statewide natural-resources and economic planning ef forts,” Carter said.
