IN MEMORIAM
In sad but loving memory of
our loved one, Rev. A. M.
Reeves, who departed this
life one year ago today,
September 21, 1*73.
Oh how I have missed you
and wished you were here,
Just to think I had to part
with the one I loved so dear.
One lonely year has ended,
filled with grief and cares.
When others seem so happy,
my eyes are filled with tears.
I often sit and wonder just
why you passed away.
Time changes everything,
they say and maybe that is
so.
For every day my love for
you seems to grow and grow.
You were loved by many but
owned by one.
Death is a heartache that
nothing can heal.
Memories are something
that no one can steal.
The sunshine lost its
brightness the day you went
away.
So many things bring
memories through every
passing day.
God saw you getting weary.
He did what he thought best.
He put his arms around you,
and whispered come on
Home and take your rest.
But what it meant to lose
you, no one will ever know.
One year ago this lonesome
day
You left me, my beloved, and
went away. The days have
been dreary, sad, and blue
For life is so empty here
without you.
When evening shadows are
falling and I am alone.
In my
In my heart there comes a
longing.
