Robbers in masks
interrupt plowing
(From Weekly Advertiser)
Ernest Adamson was returning to his house from
the field where he had been plowing when he was
confronted by two men wearing ski masks.
The two marched Mr. Adamson to his house at
gunpoint, placed a pillowcase over his head, bound
him with wire coat hangers and began to ransack
the house.
Investigating officers from the Henry County
Sheriff’s Department say a list of items stolen from
the house is in the process of being prepared and
that it appears to be substantial.
The armed robbery was one of five in Henry
County in the space of two weeks.
Because of the masks being drawn down so closely
over the heads of robbers Mr. Adamson was unable
to offer any description. The Adamson home is
located on Noahs Ark Road In the western part of
Henry County.

SOMETHING FROM NOTHING!!!
impossible! Nonsensell Illogical!I Common sense tells
us you don't get something from nothing. A thing is
always itself, neighter can we become what we are not.
Yet, searing through the world's logic we have the
Gospel, a NEW logic which fractures the old, making a
scandal of things.
The Gospel proclaims a thing becomes what it isn't
when God wills it, as in creation from nothing. Likewise,
in Jesus Christ, we see weakness become strength. By His
poverty, we are made rich. Through His suffering, He
gives us peace. From His sorrow, we have |oy. Through
His diespair, we see hope. In His death, we receive the
Gift of Life, NOW. Yes, It's wierd logic)I A SCANDALii
But a Joy and Reality which we SHARE together.
If you're nothing, there's hope. As a famous reformer
once said, "God created the world out of nothing. As long
as you are not yet nothing, God cannot make something of
you."
