No smoke
MILWAUKEE, Wis. (UPI) -
No one will be able to talk
about the dark, smoke-filled
rooms of Leonard Zurkowski’s
new saloon, because there
won’t be any smoke.
“There are 3,000 taverns in
the Milwaukee area and you
are going to smoke when you
go in whether you smoke or
not,” he said.
He opened his positively no
smoking-allowed tavern Satur
day.
Zurkowski is so serious about
his antitobacco crusade that he
doesn’t sell one brand of beer
because a tobacco firm owns
the brewery.
“We are offering something
not available at any other
tavern in Milwaukee,” he said.
