ties, providing that Theatres or other pub
lic Roums can be obtained, capable of dis
playing the following Instruments, by which
the Lectures are exemplified :—
1. A Transparent Terrestrial Globe, con
taining upwards of fifty square feet of sur
face, including all the recent discoveries.
2. A Horizontal Tellurian, Lunarian and
Edipsarcon, the Earth’s Orbit performing a
course of forty-feet, with an elegant Zodiac
lifty-four feet in circumference.
3. A Vertical Transparent Tellurian, with
designs of the Four Seasons, and a double
Zodiac, its circuinferrence thirty feet.
4. A Transparent Climate Instrument,em
bracing four Zones of the Celestial Sphere,
forty-five fcot in circumference.
5. A.splendid Transparent Orrery, eon-
tuitiing the Sun. with all tiie Planets and
Satellites, fifty feet in circumference.
6 and 7. Two elegant Transparent Plan
ispheres of the visible Starry Heavens, for-
ty-fivofeet in circumference, (one with the ft
gores of the Constellations, the other with,
out) they call he rectified to time, and to
any place in the Atlantic States of the
Union.
8. Plan of a Universal System ; or System
of Solar Systems, thirty feet in circumfer
ence.
With smaller instruments and Mathemat
ical auxiliary Diagrams, amounting in nura
,ber to nearly forty.
The whole of this Apparatus has been
constructed at great expense, either by the
Lecturer, or under ilia immediate inspec
tion, and it is esteemed by competent jud
ges better calculated to elucidate this sub
lime science than any yet exhibited to the
public.
Mr. GoooAcnr hopes to arrive in Geor
gia in tlie early part of February, and pled
ges himself to use his utmost exertions to
merit a continuance of that libera! patron
age which hus been conferred on his Lee
lures in London, Liverpool, Boston, New-
York, 'Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washing
ton, Richmond, this city, and other places

the Inspector of the Brigade,
for the purpose of being trained
and instructed by him, in the
exercise, and evolutions pre
scribed by Congress.
The General will review tlie Militia in
each County, and will notice in public or
ders, the appearance and conduct of each
corps i giving all proper praise where it is
due, and censuring witiiout reserve, any
misconduct or negligence on the part of tlie
officers or privates under his command.
However unpleasant it may be, it will
not be pretermitted, under any circumstan
ces to enforce tlie provisions of the Militia
Law, to its fullest extent, against all who
may render themselves liable to its penal-
tioB.
The inspector is charged with the pro
mulgation of these orders, and the most
punctual at'ention to the performance of
the important duties of his station, upon
which mainly depends the discipline of the
Brigade.

It is required, and ordered, that all offi
cers, non-commissioned officers, and pri
vates be armed and accoutred according to
law, except such as belong to Volunteer
Corps, whose equipments shall be in con
formity with the rules for the government
ofthe corps. Field Officers, with their staff,
of this brigade, are required to attend the
reviews and inspection within their respect
ive commands. All officers will be provided
with their commissions on the day ofinspec-
tion and review, and those commanding
companies are ordered te furnish the Ad
jutant at least five days previous to the re
view and inspection, as above ordered, witli
an exact return of their reapective compa
nies ; which returns will be consolidated by
tlie Adjutant, the same to be delivered to
me at the commencement Of the inspection
of the Battalion. After the review and in
spection. such further exercises and man-
ouvres, will be performed as may be re
quired by the Commanding-General.

chison, of Mount Gale, county of Kil
kenny, Ireland, .who arrived in Savannah
from Liverpool, in the ship Blm her; Capt.
Potter, in November or December, ,1822,
shortly after sailed for Neiv-York, and has
not since been heard of, will be thankfully
received by the subscriber, directed to Sa
vannah, Geo. who has lately had letters
from the family of said Hutchison, express
ing their anxiety to hear if lie be alive.
H. Hutchison is about eighteen years of
age, fair complexion, light brown iiair, and
about five feet nine inches high.
