Perhaps in no way,can ministr rs, insl uctora f youth, and private Christians, do jr-ntrt service to society, than by exerting them- selves to disseminate this truly invaluthle work. JOSHUA HUNTINGTON. I know of no Commentary which is bitter calculated for difiusing correct views of til) great truth* of Christianity, and leaving saiu- 'drv impressions on the mind when rising trom the pe- u**ai of it, than the one you are .bout to publish, DANIEL SHARPE. No writer si ems leas disposed to contend for barren spurula'i nt. None more uniform ly or m jre poweif.illy inculcates the great er* -enlists of religion. The spirit which .w- vadea the work is excelli nt i it ia the me h, affectionare, healing, yet faithful spirit of the gospel. DANIEL DANA.
