About five years ago, on my parsnge front
Bordeaux, during the month of January, from
mprudent exposure on deck, 1 waa seised
with s violent fever. Having no medical at-
tendunts on board, I was compelled to bear
it, as I m gbt for two weeks, when on my ar-
ival at Charleston, S. C. it was treated as
( yphus. The skill of my Physician stibdu- d

of this gave ris loa disease equally dist -es

These gradually subsided into hard tumor? 1 ,
