Remedy for the Piles.
T IIE Medicine now offered to the public
is one which hambeen fully subjected
tn the infallible test of experience ; and in
every instance where it has been litirly tri
ed, it has been attended with the most com
plete success. In some of the cases, the
patients had been labouring under the dis-
hsso for years, and during that period, hud
received the best medical advice, and had
even undergone a painful surgichl opera
tion, without permanent advantage. It is
not (like those usually advertised) offered
as 'a certain core for a long catalogue of
diseases, but those Afflicted with this com
plaint, for which alone it is recommended,
may rely with confidence upon obtaining
relief, even in its worst forms, in a short
time! and themselves ore the best judges
of the importance of such a remedy. Price

Dear Sir—You expressed a wish that ]
would give a concise itatement of my suffer
ing*, from 1 the hopeleas commencement, to
the present propitioua stage of my diaeaie.’
About five years ago, on my passage from
Bordeaux, during the month of January, from
imprudent exposure on deck, I was seised
with a violent fever. Having no medical at
tendants on board, I wu compelled to bear
it, MI might for two weeks, when on my ar
rival at charleston, s. C. it wu treated ay
Typhua. The skill nf my Physician subdurd
the fever, but Phamix-like, the termination
of this gave rile to a diaeaie equally distress
ing, and whieh, till now, I had tbuught incut-
able. Varioua ahaceisei made their unwel
come appearance, particularly on the jointa,
which were awelled to an enormous aixe.—
These gradually subsided into bard tumors,
one of which on my left knee affected the
hone—an incision was now made and a large
evacuation ofnua, mixed with pieces of bone
took place. In addition to this, I suffered the
moat excruciating pains in my joints that man
ever experienced. Every thing that waa
administered either gave me no relief nr ser
ved to aggravate the disease, the severity of
whirh incroued with every succeeding year.
Such wu my painful aiiuation that I despaired
of ever being rettored to my heal-hi Iliad
not only tried the regular means of relief,
but used, though in vain, every popular rem
edy 1 could hear of- It was in this awful and
despondmg condition, that I wu persuaded to
-nir.mence a course of your Vegetable ftathi-l
icon, and the happy result ia, “/ am the ute
of the two bottlee, my whole tyetem hat under
gone a complete r&co iition, my paitu have fa ta,
ken me;’’ tiie discharge from my knee oegan
to diminish, and aoon ceased altogether, the
ulcer from whence it proceeded being com
pletely healed. The tumors, for the removal
of which I have tried in vain more remedies
than I oan name, are rapidly decreasing ; my
appetite, which wu gone, has returned—I an
in fact, near.} well, and fuel confident that a
few bottles more of your, (to me) invaluable
medicine, will make me perfectly so.
Your obliged friend,
