Mode of Drawing.*— 1 Thn numbers will be
put into one wheel ss usual—and in the
other wheel will be put the prizes above the
denomination of four dollars, and the draw
ing to progress in the usual manner. The
20,000 prizes of gt, will be awarded to the
odd or even numbers of the Lottery, (as the
case may be) dependant nn the drawing of
the capital prize of J10,000—that is to say,
if the 40.000 dollars prize should come out
to an odd number, then every odd number

If the 40,000 dollar prize should come out
to an even number, then all the even num

This mode of drawing not only enables
tiie Commissioners to complete the whole
Lottery in one drawing, but has the great
advantage of distributing the small prizes

fashionable retreat in the country.

years. The buildings are handsomely sit
uated, the rooips large and airy, command
ing fine view'B of a beautiful country of
mountain and valley, oolobratod for purity
of atmosphere, for rich surrounding scenery
and affording the purest waters for bathing.
A new and convenient Bath-House has
been built during the past year, containing
twenty rooms for warm and cold bathing,
and having a covered way to the Hall fur
or two shares of tickets, (one odd and one
even number)will be certain of obtaining at
least one prize, and in the same- ratio for
any greater quantity.
A ticket drawing a superior prize in this
scheme, is pot restricted from drawing an
inferior one also*—many tickets therefore,
will necessarily obtain two prizes each

African fellow, about 30 years old, and

fine the above mentioned negroes in any
Jail, shall be paid the above reward, or in
proportion for any one of them. I calcu
late they are about Augusta or Savannah,
or they may be in Hancock, as Dick lias a
