COLL’MID A HALL, ' ftVj-Y»v\janou Springs T HE Proprietors of these Springs have the pleasure to inform the public, that having made several improvements since the laBt season, they are enabled to enter tain as many persons as any establishment iu the United States. Columbia Hall is fitted up with now fiirnilnre, in a style C' qual to the accommodations of ai y other fashionable retreat, in the country. New Lebanon Springs have been long celebrated for their medical virtues, and have been a fashionable resort for ninny years. The buildi"gs are liandsuinely sit uated, the rooms large and airy, command ing fine views of a beautiful country of mountain end valloy, celebrated for purity of atmosphere, for rich surrounding cenery and nffordingthe purest waters for bathing. A new and convenient Bath-House has been huilt during the pnst year, containing twenty rooms for warm and cold bathing, and having a covered way to the Hall for the bcnefii of persons in delicate health- The proprietors assure those who may visit New Lebanon for health or pleasure 40000 Tickets at $4, is Not one blank to a prize II Every prize payable in cash, sixty day: after the drawing, subject to a deduction of fifteen per cent . Mode of Drawing —The numbers will be put into ono wheel as usual—and in the other wheel will be put the prizes above the denomination off ..r dollars, nnd the draw ing to progress in tile usual manner. The 20,000 prizes of $4. will be awarded to the odd or even numbers of the Lottery, (as the case mny he) dependant on the drawing of Ihe capital prize of $40,000—that is to say, if the 40,000 dollars prize should come out to an odd number, then every odd number in the scheme will be entitled to a $4 prize- If the 40,000 do'lar prize should come nut to an even number, then all the cyen num bers in the scheme will be each entitled to a prize of 4 dollars. The odd Numbers are thoee ending with 1,3. 5, 7 or 9. The even Numbers ere tlmae ending with 2, 4, 6,8 orO. This mode of drawing not only enables the Commissioners to complete the whole Lottery in one drawing, hut has the great advantage of di-trihuting the small prizes, regularly to every alternate number in the schemes, so that the holder of two tickets or two shares of tickets, (one odd and one even number)will be certain of obtaining at least one prize, and in the same ratio far any greater quantity. A ticket drawing a superior prize in this scheme, is not restricted from drawing an inferior one nlsn—many tickets therefore, will necessarily obtain two prizes each. JAMES L. HAWKINS, 1 NATH. F.
