'I he bills ol mortality exhibit the melancholy fact that the proportion of deaths by this disease may be con*idercd as about five to one. Inasmuch then as this fatal disease frequently bj ls defi ance to the skill of the most learned phys.ci* ans, it is a gratification to the proprietor that he is enabled to offer to those ciflioled with it. a gocdly prospect of relief, io that highly valuable remedy, the Vegetable Indian Speci fic. The Indiana are happy in their know- tedge of medical plants; governed wholly by experience, they are certain ■■ to their effect, and it ii said by an author of great character, that a true consumption is a disease never known among them. This Specific is obtained by extrsetioa from herbs, roots, flowers, plants, &c. when in per fection. In consequence of a happy combina tion of the most valuable herbs, &c. it becomes h balsam of a superior value.
