Tuts preparation, (by adding foe Qqoon’s Do-t

Tltora are few cases of chronic and painful

Is highly recommended for oltdisoitaos qf the'

obstinate diseases, this preparation will undoubt

gently operates upon and regulates foe bowels,
restores to the blood ita wonted purity, givos tone

It will effectually relieve Erysipelas even in its
worst stages, and all porsons suffering from this

The native Febrifuge is offered. The proprie

nil such objections, he has Bimply to state that it is
prepared according to the receipt of an eminent
physicon, who used it with 'perfect success
through a long practice, in perhaps foo most sick

ley. Again from foe oxalted estimation in which'
Quinine is hold, not only by flic pcoplo, but by

rogatory to offer any new article. But the Native
Fubrifugo possesses all tho power and certainty
of Quinine in controlling Fever without affecting

mo*t precision has been attained. A variety of
Platform Rahiuces aro manufactured and used,
which cannot bo relied on for any considerable
degree of accuracy; so that they necessarily in-
volvu one party in pecuniary loss. It therefore
affords us plensure to refer to the Platform Seales
of Mr. Fair bank, which have been extensively
used in all parts of tire United States for several
years, aiid given, as for os our knoivledged ex
tends, very general satisfaction. We purchased
one of these scales three years since, and have us
ed them constantly for weighing paper, &c. and
for accuracy nnd durability, we aro quite sure,
they huvo not, and perhaps cannot, be surpassed.
The plan of construction is philosophical aud
simple. The employment of two levers, with n
sjngle beam, !h certainly the most practicable, In
a compound platform balance. Any increase of
foe number of levers pr an additional beam, ren
ders the instrument more complicated, less precise
in its operation and more liuble to derungempnt.
There scales are used by many of foe leading
merchants orNew York, whose written testimony
to their superior excellence. has been freely
corded to the manufacturers.
