immedinto cessation of pain. Herfacbliowcvoi.
begun to swell, aud the surfaco ivus coiehid over
with pimples of uruption like prickly heat. . Ill
oue day all this disappeared. About the sauio
time, a lady made application wit) it for thu
headache of long standing, and a tilling of tho
hair. The Ointment cured her licadache, and
restored her hair. Since this, I have liuowil tho
Ointment to cure cases often, twenty and forty
year* standing. t I hesitate not to say, tlmt it u
almost au iuiallible remedy for tills complaint.
About this time there wore two cases, one of
Consumption, and tho other of Scrofttla, which
hud bullied the skill of every phyaiciun who pres
cribed. It was wonderful to witness tho ollectof
tlui Ointment oil these persons. No one would
believe it unless they had personally witnessed It.
But it did tho \york properly. There was no half
way business, for they recovered their health iil u
few months.
Rheumatism, Fever, Qitinzy, Sore Throat, Cu
taneous Eruptions, diseases of tho Bpino, mid
Nervous Complaints were treated with unheard
of success. Butin Chest discuses, such as A4J1-.
me, pain and oppression, J believe there is no bet
ter remedy. Also, the common diseases, such as
Ulcer Sores, Scald Head, Humors of tho Skill;
Inflammation, Piles, Sore Eyes, Sprains, Bruisea;
and Burns, it seems to ho n pbrfoct nntidote,—
People would couie into the stdre smiling, wish
ing to know if 1 was really tho Seventh Son, or
whether the Oiiitmontthat I gavo tliont wns indued
all-healing iu it* nature. For enid they, not olio
single application has failed to euro.
Liver Gotnplniut, particularly, was treated with
great and universal success.
It produced such good reslilts in all eases tlmt it
has been noised abroad, aud I wus otfored sums of
money for a receipt to make it (hr private use
merely. Every man spoke well bf it, us it hud
done so iiiucli good.
Not withstanding nil, I have boon careful nbtld
recommend it, except incases 1 knew it woulddd
good. 1 was never willing to lend inysulfto uny
thing without first testing its merits. This I ell*
deavor to do on every occasion, nud when I acted
as one of tin! Sick Coimuittoo in the l.bdge bf I;
O. of O. F. I then tested it upon Brothers in thd
most critical conditions, and Imd ahiiuduut oppor
tuniiy of proving its worth. •
And. iii conclusion, I would remark tlmt I Jrnva
placed this Ointment before the people oftho' L\
States during tlm last nine or twelve months, nnd
so general has been the satisfaction, and so great
amount of good done, tlmt more than half a mill
ion of boxes have nlreudy been sold. I do really
believe there never was u medicine which gained
such widespread, universal and onnnimous satis
faction as tlm All-Healing Ointment. From nil
parts of the laud there have come up one deep,
sincere uud universal voice of approbation saying
“McAlister thy tongue hath dropjicd the word or
truth nnd love, while health forever nttmWs thy
footsteps.” And were I now to give nil the good
sayings of tho people, their unqualified upprbvnfi
their tmmkfulucssand gratitude, their joy ut reeov
ering from disense and sickness, I could fill a
volume. Jajizs McAi.HTKn, New Y'urki
