Foundation, a row of piles forming an oblong
square 25 bv 18 feet. Piles 27 feet long, not less
than 12 niches over at tho top and Gi inches at
the bottom. To he driven down 4 feet apart
even with the surface oftlid ground, unless hard
bottom iH found before they reach Hint depth
Thu heads of the piles to bo suwed ofi*square 4
inches below the surtaco of the ground. On the
head of each pile to lie laid yellow pine plank 3
inches thick, 12 inches sntmrc. On this to he a
pillar of hard brick Lid in cement, 12 inches
square, 4 feet high. On these pillars the sills of
the houso are to ho laid. Timber 8 inches square
lor the sills. House ta be one story, to finish 8
fool in tho clear. Posts 8 by 4 inches except tliu
*2 corner posts nt tins end whore the lantern is
put on, which are to bo 7 inches square mid the
pinto to ho 7 inches square at that end. All tliu
other plates may be 0 inches. Lower flour joist
8by2 inches, l(i iuchei apart. Attic Hour joist
2 by 7 inches, 20 inches apart; 7 feet from the
plate at that end of the house where tho lantern
ts to he put on, in lieu of a flooring joist is to lie a
timber 7 inches square, tho centre of which to be
7 feet from tho centre of the pinto. Two pieces
of tho same size to he framod ill. One end on
this cross beam, tho other end into tho plate.—
The centre ofthoso pieces to lie 3 feet (i inches
from the eontre of tliu house, that is, 7 loot apart.
At the end oftho House to bean Octagon fram
ed tower. Posts 7 inches sqtture. The foot of
tho posts to bo tenoned into the plate, and the
timber 7 feet from it aud the 2 cross pieces. The
post to rise 3 feet above the ridge pole or apex
of the roof.
Tim diameter of the inside oftho post at top to

bo tenoned it framed octagon deck 10 feet diame
ter at tho corners. Timber 7 by 5 inches, cov
ered with 2 inch plank yellow pmo, spiked down.

Covings cused. The dock to he covered with 80
oz. copper well nailed with copper nails. In the
dock to bo n scuttle to enter the lantern, ns large
as the space between tho timbers will admit.'
Scuttle door 8 inch plank, covered with copper.
The roof of the house to bo rectangular. Bailors
*1 by -l inches, 2 feet apart. Sides, ends and roof
of tho building mid tower above the roof, tube
boardeiI with good seasoned hoards, shingled
with tho host cedar or cypress shingles. On llie
lower door al one end lo lie partitioned oil'two
lodging rooms, !> lent square each. A door to
each near the centre partition. Ad the other end
of the lower lloor, stairs lo go into the attic.—
Windows 12 lights, 8 hv 10. One in each bed
room, 4 in the parlor, mid 2 in the attic. Door to
lead out of the trout of the house, aud one inland
out of ill'* parlor into the kitchen. The doors to
he4 pmuiel, J finch thick, except the frontdoor
which is to he l<\ inch. Good lunges aud hitches
aud lock to tho front door. The lower door to
bu laid double. Attic Hour single mi l matched.
Stairs to lead from the attic door to tliu entrance
of the scuttle into the deck of the lantern. The
parlor aud two lied rooms to bn bulled aud plus*
icivd, mid liuislicd in a plain decent rlylo. Gut
ters back nml front of tin* house witli trunks to'
lead oil*tho water. Ifa cistern is required, oun is
to be built with brick, witli siillieieni piles under
it to render itsucuro. Sides ami bottom 1 font
thick, laid in cement, and plastered inside with the

Attached to the house, on which is die tower of
the lantern, to he n kitchen 10 by I I feet. Files 20
feet long, 11 inches over ut their heads, driven
down four feel apart to the surface of the ground.
The heads of the piles to he rawed olf square 4
inches below the surface—on which is to lie laid
yellow pine plank 3 inches thick, 12 inches square
—on this to be laid a hard brick pillar in ceaicul
1*2 inches square, 4 feet high. Four piles of the
same length ami size lo lie driven down for the
foundation of the chimney. Oil the brick pillars
sills are to be laid 7 inches square; to be one sto
ry, 7 feel 0 inches in the clear; roof pitch,sides
nml roof well boarded aud shingled, l’osts 7 by
4 inches; lower door joist 8 by 2 inches, 18 in
ches apart. Attic door joist 7 by 2 inches. Low
er lloor laid double—attic lloor single and match
ed. Two windows, 12 lights each, 8 by 10. One
door in front, a chimney in tliu end, fireplace ofa
convenient size for cooking, with crane, trammel

copper pane die same size in each octagon; post
14 inch square, to run down on dm inside of die
lower, post 2J[ feet, to he secured with two Imlts
through the post, nut and screws. The dome
formed by sixteen rafters concentrating in mi iron
hoop II inches diameter, 5.^ inches wide, ^ inch
thick; across the bare of the dome to be mi iron

lantern; the dome covered with 32 oz. copper,
which is to come down and rivet uu the top of the

per. In one of the octagons to lie a door covered
with copper, 4 feet high, two feet wide, with two
strong turn buttons; in 4 of the copper panes to
lie ventilators to’admit air and keep out the wet;
around the Inntcru to lie mi iron railing, posts Ij
inch square, two railings •{ inch square, railing
post to go 2 inches into then deck and run up 4

secured with bolts thro’ tbebmtei’n posts,nuts and

painted two coals, inside white, outside black;
a copper electrical rod to run up one foot above
the value and down two feet into tho ground; a
row of piles 3 inches over at the heads, It! feet
long, to de driven down 12 feet, 4 feet apart, all
round the house ami kitchen, H feet distance
from it; on the heads of these piles is to he ten
oned timbers l> inches square, 4 by 4 joist, f» feet
apart, one end halved on lo the timber oil the beads
of the piles, the other end to go into tho brick
pillar under the sill, on which is to he laid 2 inch
plank, spiked down.

the above work until it shall have been comple
ted, inspected and approved by the Collector mid
Superintendent of Lights at Savannah, or such
person as lie shall appoint fin* tho purpose; the
whole to be completed in a workmanlike manner
011 or before the first duv of August or sooner if

age rather above the common size, of full habit,
inclining to hu stout, walks erect, of a pleasant
contenance, and when spoken to answers readily,
but when intiniidntud hurriedly. Had on when
she left, a cotton osualmrgs frock, but as she took
with her two or more calico frocks she will doubt
less change her dress. Since leaving she lias
been seen in the city of Savannah, where she is
no doubt harbored, having relatives and acquain
tances there. Two»ty dollars is offered for her de
livery to tno on Skidawuy island, or being safely
lodged in Savannah jail. All persons are cau
tioned against harboring or secreting her, as the
law will ho rigorously enforced,
