'Flouranti Mail.—The market since the receipt
of the foreign news has been unusually quiet,and
without the least movement for export. Prices
are feebly supported, and operations in Hour aro
coniined principally to the home demand, embra
cing about 2000 brls fair and good brands, at $(),-
f»0 a 0,50.1, including one or two parcels at a
slight decline on our former figures, and closing
very heavy. Extra and fancy brands have been
taken to a moderate extent at $0,75 a 7,25 per
brl.
Whv—In fair demand, and sales of 225 casks
were uitulu at $51,50 a 51,75 per 100 lbs.

Flour.—Since our last, the sales have averag
ed about 51000 bids, per day, at for pure
tienesee, $0,25 for that from Western Wheat,
and $ft,!2J a $0,181 for Troy, common .Michi
gan, Ohio, i.ockjmrl, Pluck’Rock, &e.; good
Michigan and Ohm have commanded $ft,25. In
Southern, there has beeu a fair business, and we
notice Miles of 500 bills. Petersburg <5ity .Mills,on
terms not made public ; and 1000 do. Petersburg,
Howard .Street, Richmond Country and Brandy-
wine, in small parcels, $0,50.
Hicc.—The market is firm, and since our re
port on Saturday last about 100 tierces have
changed hands at $ft,l2J for fair, to $ t,75 lor a
s nail parcel of the best description, priuei
pally however at $0,50. Some of the holders
demanded onr highest quotations, owing to the
advanced rates at the South.
Freights.—To Liverpool, are very inactive,and
but few engagements have been made since the
arrival of the steamer; Cotton is freely taken at
Id. per lb. for square bales; and 15011 bids.
Flour were engaged at Is. 2d. tier bid. To Ant
werp, Cotton at ; | of a Vent, Kiec 517s, (id. and
to Havre, some Cotton ut gdofa cent per lb. for
square bales.
F.rchuugr.—There has beeu a large business
i in Sterling for trail-mi-siou by the steamer Hiber
nia, wliieh leaves this port for Liverpool to-d.iy,
