Thia one herb, under llio forco of the Retort

Laboring under them impression* for several

witling to eonfiue myeelf longer to the duties oft
flnaer.
Every thing aeemed to point my mimt to one
abject, vis. t the preparation of thia herb into •
medicine. I then determined to return to the city
•f N. York. I did ao, and immediately inquired
fer the herb. . It waa not to lw found. I thou

Having prepared the article to my satisfaction,
I gave it away to all who would uao it. Ilun*

Tha Aral cue tlfct came tinder my observation,
wu a man that had lost llie uae of hi* arm for
aaiaa year*. The Ointment restored hi* arm
tampletely in a few d.tya. Tiiia atirpriied inn a*
macn aa it did the patient. Alter him there came
a man with acre eye* produced by gunpowder—a
very bad ca*e indeed. One box only Minified to
moke a perfect cure. And I wonld’here remark
,that hundred* have been ettred of sore eve*,
who never found any relief but in thia Oim*
ment
There next came a woman who waa guttering
excruciating pain from the ague in the face.—
Her physician (thinking it tho toothache.) had
extracted eleven of her teeth, lint the difficulty
etill remained a* bad aa ever. The Application
•f tha All Healing Ointinent was attended with
immediate cessation of pnin. Her lace however,
began to eweil, and the surface waa covered over
with pimples of eruption like prickly heat. In
•na day all thia diaappeared. About the same
time, a ludv made application with it for the
headache of long standing, and a tailing of the
Mir. The Ointment cured her headache, and
taetartd her hair. Since tins, I have known the
Ointment to cure caves often, twenty and forty
yean standing. I hesitate uot to aay, that it is
almost an infallible remedy for tiiia complaint.
About this time there were two cn<e», one nl
Consumption, and the other of Scrofula, which
had baffled the skill of every physician who pres*
•vibed. It was wonderful to witness the etVeclof
the Ointment on these person*. No one would
believe it nute** they had porjoirdly witnessed it.
Bat it did the work properly. Tlicro waa no half
way bitsitieae, for they recovered their health iu a
few month*.
Rheumatism, Fever, Quinsy, Sore Throat, Cu
taneous Eruption*, discuses of tho Spin*, and
Nervous Complaint* were treated with unheard
of success, lint in Chest diseases, such ns Asth
ma, pain and oppression, 1 believe there i* no bet
tor remedy. Also, the common disease*, such a*
Ulcer Sore*. Scald Head, Humors of the Skin,
Inflammation, Piles, Sore Eyes, Sprain*, Bruises,
and Burn*, it seems to he a perfect antidote.—
People would como into the store smiling, wish
ing to know if. I was really tho Seventh Sou, or
whether the Ointment that I gave them wa* indeed

Liver Complaint, particularly, was treated with
great and universal success..
It produced such good remits in nil cases tliat if
has been noised abroad, and I wu* ottered sum* of
Money for a receipt to make it for private u«e
merely. Every uuu spoke well of it, a* it had
donaao much good.
Not withstanding all, I hare been careful not to
recommend it, except in cases I knew it woutd do
good, t was never willing to lend uiyself to any
Sting without first testing its merit*. This I en
deavor to do on every occasion, nud when I acted
aa ona of the Sick Committee in the Lodge of 1.
O. of O. F. I then tested It upon Brothers in tho
xaeitcritical condition*, and bad abundant oppor
faulty of proving iu worth.
And. in conclusion, I would remark that I have
8 laced this Oiuttueut before the people of the U.
Uttsduring the lurtiiineor twelve mouth*, und
•o general bo* been the satisfaction, and so great
amount of good done, that more than half a mill
ion of boxes have already been sold. I do really
believe thero never wnsa medicine which gained
such widespread, universal and unanimous satis
faction as the AU-IIeuliug Ointment. From nil
parts of the land there have come up ouc deep,
sincere and universal voice of npprntmiionsnying
“McAlister thy tongue hath dropped the word of
troth and love, while health forever attend; thy
foot step*.” And were I now to give all the good
