ra" Min* hundred yours ngo. Among theso
Mattered leaves I read of an herb which had umui
analysed by adnia bf England's ancient Aleho-
mists, showing properties and qualities never lie*
litre round in any plant that was ever discovered*
This one herb, under the force of the Retort
•ad Crucible, developed more than ten distinct
properties. This fact struck nty mind so forcibly,
that it was impossible to get rid of it. Something
aaamed to tell me that I'rovideitee, whoso special
•are is esteuded to wants all his creatures, had
naves concentrated into one small herb so minx'
medicinal qualities, as various and as complicated,
although perfectly identical as the human blond,
without a wise and good purpose. Horo was to
bo (bund the acids, tho alkalis, the od«, the water,
the air, the salts, tho soda, Ac., all combined, con-
ceatrated, and chemically uuitod into one single
clamant of power, forming a substance more al
lied and in alBnity to the human blood than was
•var before discovered in the works of nature.
Laboring under these impressions for several
I became uneasy, discontented, and urn
years, I became uiicaar. «n»«......
willing to confine raysoll longer to Uto dunce ot a

Every thing seemed to point my mind to one
object, via.t"tho preparation of this herb into a
■ttdiftitfe. I then detormiued to return to Uto city
of N. York. I did so, and immediately iniuired
fir tho herb. It was not to be found. I then
•aut to Europe and there fouudit under anoUier
name.

■taka a perfect euro. And I would here rouinrti
that hundrede haro been cured of anro eyes,
who never found auy reliefb.it in litis Oint-

Thiro next came » woman who was suffering
•tcruciating pain from the ague in tho liico—
Hwphysiciau (thinking it tho toothache,) had
extracted eleven of her teeth. Hut the difficulty
ItilV-remained as bad as ever. The Application
of tho All Healing Ointment was attended with
immediate cessation of pain. Her lace however,
began to swell, and tho surface was covered over
with pimples of eruption like prickly heat. In
•a# day all this disappeared. About the same i
time, a lady made application with it for the
headache or long standing, and n tailing of the
hair. The Ointment cured her headache, and
restored her hair. Since this, I have known the
Ointment to cure cases often, twenty and forty
yean standing. I hesitate not to say, that it is
almost an infallible remedy for this complaint.
About this time there were two care#, opo ol
Consumption, and the other of Scrofula, which
had baffled the skill of every physician who pres-
tribed. It was wonderful to witness the elfoctof
thi Ointmeut on these porsous. No one would
balieve it unless they had personally witnessed it.
But it did the work properly. There was uu half
way business, lor they recovered their health in a
ftw months. ^ „ _.
Rheumatism, rover, Qu.nzy, Sore Throat, Cu
taneous Eruptions, diseases of tho Spin t, and
Norvous Complaints wire treated with milieu.d
of success. Hut in Client diseases, such as Asth

lar remedy. Also, the common diseases, such as
Uleer Sores. Scald Head, Humors of the Skin,
Inflammation, Piles, Sore Eyes, .Sprains, Bruises,
sod Ourus, it seems to be a perfect antidote.—
People would come into the store smiling, wish
ing to know if I was reullv tho Seventh Son, or
whother the Ointmeut tliut 1 gave them was indeed
healing in its nature. For said they, not uuo

Mon noised abroad, and I was ottered stuns of
money for a receipt to make it for private use
merely. Every muu spoke woll of it, as it had
dona so much good. ,
Not withstanding nil, I have been careful not to
recommend it, except incases I knew it would do
good. I was never willing to lend myself to nny
thing without first testing its merits. This I en
deavor to do ou every occasion, end when I noted
as one of thrfSick Committee in the Lodge of I.
O. of O. F. I then tested it upon Brothers iu the
most critical conditions, and had abundant oppor
tuulty of proving its worth.
And. in conclusion, I would remark that I have
S laced this Ointment before the people of tho L 7 .
tales during the last nine or twelve months, nnd
•o general has been tho satisfaction, and so great

ion of boxes have already been cold. I do really
believe there uever was a medicine which gained
•uch wido spread, universal and unanimous satis-
faction as tne All-Healing Ointment. From all
parts of the land there have come up one deep,
sincere and universal voice of approbation saying
“McAlister thy tongue hath dropped the word of
truth and love, while health forever attends thy
feot steps." And were I now to giro all tho good
